Judith Rushlow was born in Germany and emigrated to the U.S. at the age of eight. She received her B.A. in German Language and Literature from Occidental College, Los Angeles, and earned her paralegal certificate through the UCLA Extension Paralegal Training Program. She has worked in family law since 2008.

Judith lives in Santa Monica with her husband, Michael, a former punk rock musician who is now a graphic artist and talented cook. Outside of work, Judith is on the Advisory Board of the Greater Los Angeles Writers Society (GLAWS), a non-profit educational organization. She volunteers for both GLAWS and its sister organization, West Coast Writers Conferences. In her spare time, she loves to read and is working on several writing projects.
